Learn Real Security.
Own Your Skills.

Security ARK is a free cybersecurity self-assessment platform built on 1,534 real security controls. Working pros use it to do real assessment work. Beginners use it to learn, with an AI coach and free exam prep on the way.

Free forever, no card required Nothing tied to your name Launching soon

A Resource, Not A Product

Real security education has never been built for the people who need it most. It's locked behind expensive training, professional certifications, and years of experience most people around the world will never have the chance to earn — especially in the underserved communities where the actual risk is highest. Security ARK exists to change who gets to learn this.

"A kid with zero background should be able to sit down with Security ARK and walk away understanding how to help secure something real — a school's network, a family's shop, even their own community's water supply."

Built Like A Real Assessment. Explained Like It's Your First Day.

No jargon. No prerequisites. Just the same structure a professional security architect would actually use.

Step 1

Cyber Landscape Discovery

About 45 adaptive questions across 7 pillars — Data, Physical, Network, Systems, Storage, Software, Security — map your actual environment before a single compliance question shows up.

Step 2

Framework Guidance

Every control is crosswalked through the Secure Controls Framework to 252+ frameworks — CMMC, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and hundreds more. Answer once, and see where you stand across all of them.

Step 3

The Full Assessment, Your Way

1,534 controls, every one rewritten in plain English. Story Mode walks beginners through it like a conversation. Advanced Mode gives working pros the full depth, with nothing watered down.

Step 4

Reports You Can Act On

A PDF report, a System Security Plan (SSP), and an auto-generated Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), so you leave with a real to-do list instead of a score you don't know what to do with.

Beginners And Working Pros. Both.

New To Security

Learn By Doing

Never touched a firewall in your life? Good. Security ARK teaches a complete beginner how to think about real security, one plain-language question at a time. After launch, Jarvis will let you ask "why?" about any control, and a free Security+ and CISSP question bank will help you turn what you learn into a passed exam.

Working Pros & SMEs

Do Real Pro Work With It

Run real assessments for clients or your employer and walk away with a PDF report, SSP, and POA&M. Because it's non-attributable by design, nothing is tied to your name or organization, so you don't create a data-retention problem. It's a professional tool that travels with you.

Jarvis: Your AI Coaching Layer

Once Security ARK launches, Jarvis follows — an AI layer that will turn your assessment into a real conversation. Ask why a control matters, what fixing it looks like in your environment, or what to tackle first. Pros will get a faster second set of eyes. Learners will get a patient tutor that explains things until they click. Security ARK is also adding a free Security+ and CISSP question bank, so you can study for the actual exam, not just guess at it.

Built On Microsoft Azure

Security ARK's production platform is being built on Microsoft Azure through its nonprofit program, and Jarvis will run inside that same environment — not bolted on from somewhere else.

Powered By Claude And Azure OpenAI

Jarvis is being designed to work with Anthropic's Claude and Azure OpenAI through a model router, so it can use the right model for each job and never depend on a single AI company.

Opt-In. Always.

The free assessment will never require AI. Jarvis will be something you choose to turn on, and before it goes live we'll publish exactly what it sends to an AI model and what it doesn't.

Secured Like We Teach It

We're building Jarvis against the OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications — the same risks we teach in The Crucible. If we teach it, we hold ourselves to it.

Be First When It Launches

No cost, no obligation — just early access the moment Security ARK goes live.

Your email only gets you the launch notice. It's kept separate from Security ARK and never connected to any assessment you run.

Frequently Asked

Do I need any background in cybersecurity to use this?
No. Security ARK is built specifically so a complete beginner can follow it start to finish, with no prerequisites.
Is it actually free, or is there a catch later?
The core assessment engine is free forever — that's not a limited-time hook, it's the whole point of the nonprofit mission behind it.
What does "non-attributable" actually mean?
Nothing about your assessment is tied to your name, email, or organization. Your identity is a SHA-256 hash, not a login — so working professionals can safely run it on real client or employer environments.
Does Security ARK use AI?
The free assessment doesn't need AI and never will. Jarvis, coming after launch, is an optional AI layer built on Microsoft Azure using Anthropic's Claude and Azure OpenAI. You choose whether to use it.
If I use Jarvis, will an AI company see my assessment?
Jarvis will need to send parts of your question and assessment context to an AI model to answer you, so we won't pretend otherwise. Before Jarvis launches, we'll publish exactly what gets sent, what doesn't, and how it's protected. If you don't turn Jarvis on, nothing goes to any AI model.
Can I use Security ARK to study for Security+ or CISSP?
That's the plan. A Security+ and CISSP question bank is on Security ARK's roadmap, and it will be free, just like the core assessment. Jarvis, the optional paid AI layer, will be able to explain the reasoning behind answers. Neither is live yet, and we'll announce them when they are.
When exactly does it launch?
We're not putting a date on it we can't guarantee — join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know the moment it's live.
Is this connected to The Crucible?
Yes — Security ARK is the free tool, and The Crucible is the paid weekly coaching program that comes with priority access to ARK the moment it launches.
